Quality Policy
Al Hidaya Halal is the designated entity responsible for Halal certification activities. Quality is integral to all technical, operational, and service delivery processes at AL HIDAYA HALAL. Our service culture focuses on client satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Al Hidaya Halal has established an Impartiality Committee to ensure adherence to impartiality norms and regularly review these standards.
Our quality objectives include:

- Resolving client, employee, and supplier queries promptly and amicably.
- Ensuring clients have complete confidence in our capability and professionalism.
To achieve these objectives, we:
- Maintain high levels of peer review and management oversight.
- Engage stakeholders, especially clients and employees, in meaningful consultation and communication.

Our Quality Policy applies to all employees and representatives of AL HIDAYA HALAL, reflecting our commitment to understanding, reviewing, and implementing these actions.
Confidentiality
All information obtained by AL HIDAYA HALAL staff, subcontractors, or committee members during evaluation or certification activities is considered strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without explicit permission. If required by law, the client or individual will be notified in advance of any disclosure, unless regulated otherwise.
In cases where legal or safety concerns arise, AL HIDAYA HALAL reserves the right to report such issues to the relevant authorities, with the permission of a Managing Director if necessary.
Impartiality
AL HIDAYA HALAL and its team understand the importance of impartiality in certification activities. We ensure that all personnel involved in the certification process remain impartial and manage any conflicts of interest.
AL HIDAYA HALAL:
- Does not engage in business activities that could compromise impartiality.
Avoids advertising or promoting services that could affect impartiality. - Prohibits auditors from auditing organizations they have previously consulted or trained.
- Requires all management and staff to declare any financial interests or business activities that might conflict with AL HIDAYA HALAL’s certification activities.
We have an Impartiality Committee to advise on impartiality matters, and we review risks to
impartiality annually.
Anti-Discrimination Statement
AL HIDAYA HALAL ensures that all transactions are conducted fairly and without discrimination. We:
- Maintain fair procedures throughout the application process.
- Make our services accessible to all eligible applicants.
- Ensure that the certification process is not influenced by client size, association membership, political views, or financial position.
AL HIDAYA HALAL reserves the right to decline applications or maintain certification if a client is involved in illegal activities or has a history of non-compliance that could harm AL HIDAYA HALAL ’s reputation or certification status.
Complaints
Complaints can be submitted via the provided link, email, letter, or phone. Please include all relevant details and evidence. The AL HIDAYA HALAL Complaint Committee will handle the complaint and inform you of the outcome. If dissatisfied with the decision, you can appeal. Complaints and appeals will not result in discrimination against the complainant.

Appeal
If you are unhappy with the outcome of a complaint investigation, you can appeal via the provided link, email, letter, or phone. The Appeal Committee will review your appeal, interview relevant stakeholders, and consider all pertinent information. The decision of the Appeal Committee is final. If still dissatisfied, you may contact the relevant accreditation body. Appeals will not result in discrimination.

Suspension, Withdrawal, or Cancellation of Certificates
Procedures for suspension, withdrawal, or cancellation of certification involve:
- Reviewing grounds for action.
Issuing a response letter to the certified client. - Reviewing corrective actions and setting due dates.
- Proceeding with suspension or cancellation if required actions are not met.
Reasons for suspension or cancellation include major non-conformance, improper use of certification, or failure to meet financial obligations.
Certification will be cancelled if corrective actions are not implemented or if there are serious complaints.
Certified clients must return all certification documentation upon cancellation. Re-approval requires a new application and full assessment.
Refusal of Certification
Certification may be refused if:
- Corrective actions are not submitted or are unsatisfactory.
- Fees are not paid on time.
- The client opts out of certification post-assessment.
- Submitted evidence is found to be fraudulent.
Refusal details will be provided in writing, and clients may reapply in response to a show-cause notice. AL HIDAYA HALAL maintains a record of refusals and reserves the right to decline applications based on legal or compliance issues.
